Terms of Use

Last updated: 23 October 2026

By using joytt you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Who we are

joytt is an independent community for young Africans, starting with Nigeria. joytt is not a shop, a payment provider or a seller. Product links take you to third-party sites such as TikTok, Jumia, Konga or WhatsApp.

2. Your account

  • Give accurate registration details and keep your password private.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, use joytt with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
  • One person should not run multiple accounts to manipulate discussions, reactions or rankings.

3. What you post

You keep ownership of your words. By posting, you give joytt a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display, format, distribute and archive your post as part of the community. Do not post content that:

  • is illegal, defamatory, harassing, hateful or sexually exploitative;
  • reveals another person’s private information without permission;
  • is spam, a scam, a phishing attempt or a disguised advert;
  • infringes copyright, trademark or other rights;
  • contains malware or attempts to break the site.

You are responsible for what you publish. If you post about a product or service, say clearly whether you are connected to it.

4. Moderation

We may remove posts, limit accounts or close accounts that break these terms or make the community unsafe. We try to be consistent, but moderation decisions are ours. You can appeal by emailing hello@joytt.com.

5. Third-party links

Deals and forum posts may link to third-party sites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their products, prices, delivery, returns or privacy practices. Check the seller before you pay. Some links are affiliate links; see our Affiliate Disclosure.

6. Our content

The joytt name, design, code and original editorial content belong to joytt or its licensors. You may share links and short quotes with attribution. Do not copy the site wholesale or use our brand to imply endorsement.

7. Disclaimers

joytt is provided “as is”. We do not promise that every post is accurate, that the site will always be available, or that a product will work for you. Nothing on joytt is medical, legal, financial or safety advice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by Nigerian law, joytt is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, or losses arising from third-party products or links. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be limited.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the date above will change. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Courts in Nigeria have jurisdiction, without affecting consumer rights you may have locally.
